Ted Wilkins

Ted has been a member of Royal Winchester Golf Club since 1975 and was Seniors' Captain in 2011.

 During that period he has won many Trophies and set a new course record of 67 when the course was lengthened  but he has two records which are unique. 

The Men's Grand Slam

The men's grand slam consists of winning the Club Championship, Cave Cleek and Scratch Knockouts in the same year.   Ted, who has won two Club Championships in 1987 and 1992 achieved the Grand Slam in 1987. 

Father and Son Club Champions

To date Ted and his son Graham are the only father and son to have both won the Club Championship, 

Graham won the Club Championship in 2001.
