Do you know Tom Watson from Tony Jacklin, or indeed lychees from loganberries? If you want to test your mettle against our other members, and not just on the course, come along to our Quiz evening. The Royal Winchester Golf Club quizzes are as fun and challenging as our course, so start revising now!

Race nights have also been a fun way of spending an evening here at the club, whilst raising money for the Captain’s charity.

Friendly Formal Social Functions

As a member, you shall go to the ball tonight! Royal Winchester Golf Club arranges Summer and New Year's Eve Balls, with exciting live entertainment. So put on your glad rags and enjoy a grand night out. Also, we have our Club Night Dinners, with champagne, fine dining and fascinating speakers.

Quality Sunday Carvery Lunches

Our sumptuous Sunday lunch is a real hit with our members. It is delicious and great value too, and you can choose to have one, two or three courses, depending on what appetite you’ve worked up. Do remember to book for this, to avoid disappointment!

Themed Supper Social Evenings

Our themed suppers have been a real success; our recent Valentines dinner was a big hit with the couples. It can be a great way of meeting and socialising with other members. We have an array of themed nights, from Black Tie Casino nights with Black Jack and Roulette, all the way through to Country and Western, with line dancing and a hog roast. We even have an annual children’s pantomime; fun for all the family!
