Course Open, delay on buggies until frost clears (updated 22 January at 07:34)

   

30 senior golfers took part in this event on Thursday 6th Decemberin windy but dry conditions.  The competition was a stableford/match play where the mythical snowman, a gifted scratch player who birdied every hole, played against a team of 3 players pff full handicap, best 2 stableford points on each hole to count.

The competition was devised and administrated by Ron Venturi and proved very popular.  The winning team Messers Buurman, Purdie and Bush won on a countback scoring +13.  The lowest scores were +8.

After a light meal the Senior's Captain announced the results and presented the prizes.
