Juniors Club Championship 2016 Saturday 16th July
For the third year running Robbie Flower, playing off a handicap of 2, won the Juniors’ Club Championship, the Holmes Cup, with a gross score of 70. Robbie is pictured receiving the Cup from Club Captain Don Goss. Second place went to Mitch Macarthur and third place to Mackenzie Dellimore. As well as some excellent scores, a highlight of the afternoon was the hole-in-one scored by Mackenzie on the third hole. He used a six iron off the white tees and will receive six golf balls from TaylorMade. Congratulations to everyone who played and made it such a great afternoon of golf.

Kiley Cup The Kiley Cup, which is based on nett scores was won by Adam Price with a 77 - 7 = Nett 70. Second and third places went to Ciara Stocks and Sam Davies respectively. Adam is pictured receiving the Cup from Club Captain Don Goss. The Holmes Cup was also used as a qualifier for The Telegraph BMW Junior Golf Championship in which boys and girls can win a trip to the final at Qunita do Lago, Portugal. Robbie and Ciara’s cards are being submitted for consideration. |
