Royal Winchester Golf Club seeks to promote a friendly and relaxed atmosphere whilst maintaining a standard of dress, both on the Course and in the Clubhouse, which is appropriate to the traditions of a private members' golf club. Members and visitors are expected to comply with the Dress Code at all times.

Course
Recognised and conventional golf clothing and footwear only may be worn. Shorts should be tailored and of reasonable length. Gentlemen wearing shorts must wear long socks or predominantly white sports socks

Clubhouse
Smart casual dress is required. Recognised and conventional golf clothing may be worn provided that it is dry and clean.
Members and visitors wishing to use the dining room are requested to change out of golf clothing.

Exclusions
Not Allowed - Anywhere, Anytime:
Denim or denim look-a-like clothing.
Football, Rugby, Hockey type shirts, singlets or shorts.
Tracksuits, leisure or shell suits.
Trainers.
